It's five letters.
It goes hand-in-hand with faith.
It feels extremely hard to do at times.
Many people take it for granted.
Makes you think of honesty and integrity...

That's right! TRUST
[Psalm 56:3] When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
I've always felt the need to talk about trust in God, and I was going to take this post a totally different direction, but as I was researching this topic, God opened my eyes to a new way to talk about this to you guys.
First of all, I find that we live in a generation of anxiety and depression. But the remedy to that is so simple. Just trust in the Lord with everything you've got.
[Proverbs 3:5] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
I am currently working on trusting God with everything, but something that just helped this CLICK so much into place was realizing the power of God's will and God's plan.
There is literally NOTHING, earthly nor spiritually, that can get in the way of God's will and way for your life. God has the final say over where you end up.
[Romans 8:28] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Now don't get me wrong...as humans, He gave us free-will, and we can choose to go different directions for as long as we want...BUT when we're truly following the Lord, He's going to give us what He has promised us in His timing. (That's another message for another day...haha.. just learn to patient with God!)
God ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS keeps His promises. I cannot stress that enough.
Yeah maybe Billy and Anne broke their promises to you, but those are humans. Humans will never ever be perfect, but God is the definition of perfection. He is perfect, He always was, and He always will be. He will never break His promises to you.
Okay so what has He promised us?
There are a bazillion things God has promised us... if you'd like to see more, I found this cool website: https://www.clintbyars.com/blog/2017/12/12/browse-a-list-of-gods-promises-from-each-book-of-the-bible
Just to say a few:
Strength and Power! -[Isaiah 40:29-31] He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who TRUST in the Lord, will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Hope!-[Jeremiah 29:11] "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Wisdom!-[James 1:5] If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Peace!-[Psalms 119:165] Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.
Forgiveness and Healing!- [Psalms 103:2-3] Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
Earthly Needs!- [Mathew 6:31-33] Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?"...For your heavenly father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The greatest promise of them all: Eternal Life!!- [1 John 2:25] And this is the promise that He has promised us⏤ eternal life.
Now that we understand that God has promises for us and plans for good, let me bring you back to where I was talking about fully understanding that God's will for our lives is going to prevail.
Okay so there is nothing that you can do or say, and there is definitely nothing that someone else can do or say that will prevent you from getting His promises or change His will.
If something is meant to work for your good, God is going to give it to you in due time. If it is not meant for you... it will NOT ever work out in your favor so you might as well quit while you're ahead. Don't waste all of your time sitting there and wondering, "Oh well maybe if I said this or tried to do that..." NO. I promise you... God's got it for you. Sit back and relax. Take a nap. Wake up and do something productive for the kingdom of heaven, and BAM God's going to have it work out for you or He's going to give you something even better than you imagined!!!!
You cannot do a thing to change what God is going to do. If there's one thing I want you to remember from this post. It is that. Nothing can overcome the power of God's will. NOT A THING on Earth. Not a thing in Heaven. He is UNSTOPPABLE!
So please do not be anxious about tomorrow. Don't be depressed over today. Trust in God with every fiber of your being because you have got to understand that He is 100% for you even when you are only 1% for Him. God is so so good. He is so righteous and just and kind. Faithful. SO faithful.
If anyone deserves your trust... it's the man upstairs.
But why is it so hard to trust in God? This goes more with faith and love for God than actual trust issues.
Yes, as humans, we have been hurt by so many and betrayed by so many.. but God is not a human. Jesus was betrayed by His closest friends and followers, but that did not excuse Him from trusting in the Lord. Throughout everything, He still kept His eyes on the Father. When you fully begin to understand who God is and really see Him, you'll know exactly why you're meant to trust Him. You cannot have a strong faith in God without trusting Him. Faith and Trust are basically the same thing. The definition of faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something. So I want to ask you.. do you have faith?
If so and if not, I want to leave you guys some things that can help you strengthen your faith in God:
